Hello again!  It’s been a few weeks since we launched our first blog post so its about time we sent another…and here it is!  It’s been a very busy time at the shop with bringing in our summer ranges, coping with the PGA Tournament at Wentworth and producing more fabulous celebration cakes.

Summer is here at last and whilst the weather is a bit hit and miss, we can certainly see the difference with more folks taking the opportunity to get out in the fresh air for lunch. There’s much less demand for soups and hot food now and many more for sandwiches, filled rolls and wraps.  It’s not just the old favourites of Cheese and Pickle, Ham and Tomato and Egg Mayo either, there is more demand for some of our exciting speciality fillings such as Piri Piri Chicken, Chorizo and Wasabi Tuna. For the health conscious we can combine our great speciality fillings into a tasty salad box too.

Combine these with a hot or cold drink – we have healthy drinks too –  and a snack or cake and you have a perfect summer lunch!

And why not top it off with an ice cream?  Not any old ice cream either!  Take your choice of a tub of Jude’s Salted Caramel or Truly Chocolate or be really adventurous with an Ice Kitchen Mojito or Strawberries & Cream ice lolly!

Don’t forget if you’re short on time you can ring in your order on 01344 844210. We’ll get it ready for you then you can pop into the shop in Virginia Water and pick it up and avoid the queue!  Check out our full menu here.
